The MG in legendary Stax Records act Booker T. and the MG’s (probably) stands for “Memphis Group” — though the real meaning has always been unclear.

Max Yasgur, who opened his dairy farm for Woodstock, died of a heart attack just nineteen months after the famed 1969 Woodstock Festival.
