Cult-classic movie “Almost Famous” was journalist/filmmaker Cameron Crowe’s semi-autobiographical story about being a teenage writer for Rolling Stone Magazine in the 1970s.

Miles Davis released the aptly named “We Want Miles” in 1982 after a five year long hiatus from his trumpet where according to his autobiography, he took time to focus on women and cocaine.
