Freddie King’s eighth & ninth albums, “Freddie King is a Blues Master” & “My Feelings for the Blues” were produced by King Curtis with Curtis’ soul band The Kingpins — cementing an R&B-styled horn-heavy groove for which Freddie would become famous.

On the 21st of July 1990, most of The Band — Rick Danko, Levon Helm and Garth Hudson, backed Sinead O’Connor on vocals & Roger Waters on guitar covering Pink Floyd’s “Mother” in The Wall Live in Berlin — commemorating the fall of the Berlin Wall.
