While Waylon Jennings was recording his album “I’ve Always Been Crazy” in 1977, federal agents stormed the recording studio trying to bust Jennings for drugs, which they didn’t find. He was inspired to write “Don’t You Think This Outlaw Bit’s Done Got Out of Hand?” after the experience.

Pre-Allman Brothers Band, Duane Allman was the session guitarist at Muscle Shoals’ FAME Studios.
