The “b-b-b-baby” stutter in the 1974 classic Bachman–Turner Overdrive song “You Ain’t Seen Nothing Yet” was originally intended as a private joke, and only added to the record to fill out the time.

Professor Longhair died in 1980, got a Grammy Award in 1988, inducted to the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame in 1992, and the Grammy Hall of Fame in 1998.
