Carole King’s “Tapestry” and Joni Mitchell’s “Blue” were recorded in the same studio at the same time — A&M Studios in 1971. Joni sang backup vocals on King’s song “Will You Love Me Tomorrow?” from that session.

Sam Phillips founded Sun Records in Memphis, Tennessee in February of 1952.
