Bukka White’s guitar, affectionately named “Hard Rock”, was a 1933 National Duolian steel-bodied single cone Resonator, Serial No C7094, made in USA. He gifted it to U.K. photographer Keith Perry in 1976.

Several tracks on Miles Davis’ masterpiece “Sketches of Spain” were inspired by musicologist Alan Lomax’s field recordings in Galicia and Andalusia, Spain.
