The Surfaris 1963 massive smash hit single “WIPEOUT” was a traditional 12-bar blues riff. The laughing in the beginning was the studio owner & band’s manager. It was written & recorded “on the spot” in the studio as b-side filler.

The 1987 film “Adventures in Babysitting” featured an appearance by bluesman Albert Collins, who backed the protagonists on a blues song.
