There was no deeper meaning behind the name of Bob Dylan’s 1966 album “Blonde on Blonde”, and in fact, nobody present during the recording session can recall the exact origin of the phrase. Dylan claims he didn’t originate it.

The band name Jefferson Airplane has a secret bluesy origin — coming from guitarist Jorma Kaukonen’s friend’s dog’s name — “Blind Lemon Jefferson Airplane”.
