Muddy Waters’ 1968 song “She’s Alright” provides the rhythm & tambourine backbone of The Black Keys’ song “She’s Long Gone” from their hit album ‘Brothers’.

The band name Jefferson Airplane has a secret bluesy origin — coming from guitarist Jorma Kaukonen’s friend’s dog’s name — “Blind Lemon Jefferson Airplane”.
