Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers’ final show was September 25, 2017 at The Hollywood Bowl in Hollywood, California, where the band closed with “American Girl”. Petty died one week later.

The British MOD subculture got their name from originally being known for listening to modern jazz in the late 1950s.
