For a little less than three years, Johnny Cash hosted a hit television variety show called “The Johnny Cash Show”, filmed at Ryman Auditorium.

The building on the cover of The Eagles’ “Hotel California” was the Beverly Hills Hotel, shot from an elevated cherry picker at dusk, to enhance the mystery.
