On his 2001 album “Sweet Tea”, Buddy Guy covered the song “Tramp”, made famous by Otis Redding & Carla Thomas for Stax Records — it was first recorded by west coast blues guitarist Lowell Fulson.

The Dead Kennedys’ drummer D.H. Peligro also drummed for the Red Hot Chili Peppers in 1988, helping write songs on their 1989 album “Mother’s Milk”.
