Ron Wilson, drummer from the 1963 one-hit-wonder song “WIPEOUT”, would later set the world record for continuous drum soloing at 104 1/2 hours.

The gong famously used in Pink Floyd’s Live at Pompeii was reportedly only used one other time — at a show February 27th, 1980 during “Waiting for the Worms”.
