The cover art of The Band’s The Basement Tapes was taken by photographer Reid Miles in the basement of an L.A. YMCA, with the band positioned among circus sideshow acts & colorful characters.

The Gorillaz song “Left Hand Suzuki Method” from their 2001 self-titled smash hit debut featured a sample of Muddy Waters’ 1968 hit “Mannish Boy” (from Electric Mud) throughout the track.
