The Gaslight Cafe in Greenwich Village, NY, was one of the epicenters for the 60’s folk music boom and closed in 1971.

The Rolling Stones paid tribute to zydeco master Clifton Chenier’s 100th birthday in 2025 by covering the accordinist’ cajun song “Zydeco Sont Pas Salés”.
