The jazz standard “Pennsylvania 6-5000,” popularized by Glenn Miller, was inspired by the Pennsylvania Hotel’s telephone number, where Miller led His Orchestra in 1940.

Johnny Winter created his own record label, Blue Sky Records, with the help of manager Steve Paul in 1973. Albums released by Blue Sky included Johnny, Edgar Winter, Rick Derringer and Muddy Waters' famous comeback albums, Hard Again, King Bee, and I'm Ready.
