Pop-reggae band UB40’s 1983 hit song “Red, Red Wine” was originally written and performed by Neil Diamond in 1967.

Cobra Records was founded in 1956 in Chicago, Illinois, capturing a slice of the golden era of blues with Otis Rush, Sunnyland Slim, Magic Sam and even a young Buddy Guy. The label folded after the founder was discovered dead at the bottom of Lake Michigan under mysterious circumstances.
