Slim Harpo's 1957 classic "King Bee" gave Excello, founded that year, its trademark swamp blues sound and inspired a thousand artists, from Muddy Waters to The Rolling Stones.
That swampy rhythm and blues that came out of Nashville-based Excello Records would be carried on by immortal greats like Lonnie Brooks, Lazy Lester, and Lightnin' Slim. Even MLK recorded at Excello. But by 1975, Excello could no longer compete, and closed its doors forever.
This Bluescentric Brand Classic Gildan tee is 100% preshrunk heavy cotton, Heather colors are 50/50. Sizes run very true, and have minimal, if any, shrinking. This is a standard go-to King Bee vinyl record t-shirt.
