Chester Arthur "Howlin Wolf" Burnett's second studio album at Chess Records is a collection of twelve Chess singles from 1960-1962. The unique album features no name -- just a rocking chair and a guitar. Thus, the album is lovingly known by fans as the "Rockin Chair Album".

Every track was composed by the great Willie Dixon. Just two years after Rockin Chair's release, The Rolling Stones had a #1 hit in the UK with "Little Red Rooster".

In 2004, The album was named the third greatest guitar album of all time by Mojo Magazine.
