The debut album by Jimi Hendrix, Are You Experienced, was released in the UK in May 12th, 1967. It only took 15 days to crack the hits charts, peaking at #2 behind Sgt. Pepper.
While the later United States release featured the famous yellow psychedelic album cover, the UK version featured a dark green cover. Designed by Chris Stamp, Hendrix wears a long cape, evoking a sort of dracula spirit. The futuristic "Are You Experienced" half-circle lettering was designed by Alan Aldridge.
This Bluescentric Brand Jimi Hendrix tee is available in premium lightweight 4.2oz vintage style sizes Small to 4XL. Solid colors are 100% combed, ringspun cotton. Athletic Heather is 90% cotton. All other Heather colors are 52% cotton, 48% poly. Sizes run true. These album cover t-shirts are lighter and slightly more fitted compared to the Classic Gildan tees.
