Johnny Winter's menacing, legendary "Screaming Demon" tattoo artfully fit the bluesman's aggressive style. Inked by Kevin Brady at Sunset Strip Tattoo back in 1984, Winter received the tattoo in Los Angeles while staying at "The Riot House" -- a legendary Rock n Roll haunt.
The tattoo took two days, one for the outline, the second for the fill. "Man, it really f*ckin' hurt," Winter told Easy Riders: Tattoo Magazine in 1989 of his self-described most painful ink.
