June 16 - June 18, 1967 brought the culture-changing three-day Monterey International Pop Music Festival brought Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Otis Redding, The Grateful Dead, Ravi Shankur, The Who, The Butterfield Blues Band, Booker T and the MGs, and many others to an estimated 50-90,000 festival-goers.
Monterey was the first American performances for Jimi Hendrix, Ravi Shankur and The Who. This powerful, unique lineup would never exist again, but many performances were captured on video.
The Monterey Pop Festival ladies t shirt comes in comfortable 4.5oz preshrunk 100% combed & ringspun cotton sizes up to 2XL. Sizes run very true. These are not fitted, but lightly semi-contoured for a comfortable fit. Heather Grey is 90/10, any other heather colors are 60/40.
