The Blackhawk was San Fransisco's iconic jazz lounge, regularly featuring artists who became "the greats". This Miles Davis 1957 concert featured a now-legendary Jazz lineup of John Coltrane on tenor saxophone, Red Garland on piano, Paul Chambers on bass and "Philly" Joe Jones on drums. Miles, of course, played trumpet.
