John Lee Hooker was born in (about) 1917 in the extremely tiny, rural town of Tutwiler, Mississippi — coincidentally the very same town where W.C. Handy first heard & documented a man singing what he called “the blues” in 1903.

VERY special Small Batch limited edition release! Less than 1,500 made, and only available until October 18th, 2020.

This is a reissue of the exact design that Stevie Ray Vaughan wore (pictured alongside Ardy Harris & Vasti Jackson) at the 1984 Delta Blues Festival in Greenville, Mississippi. Photo courtesy of stellar blues musician Vasti Jackson.

The 44th Delta Blues Festival is going virtual for 2020 on September 19th, be sure to tune in.
