Pink Floyd founder Syd Barrett wrote a song called “Bob Dylan Blues” in 1965, and recorded it during sessions for his solo album “Barrett”, but the song was unreleased and largely unknown until it was released in 2001.

Before either hit it big, Janis Joplin & The Grateful Dead were friends & neighbors in Haight-Ashbury, San Fransisco.
