American jazz saxophonist Sidney Bechet spent a year in jail for dueling on the streets of Paris and accidentally shooting an innocent bystander. The duel was over whether or not Bechet was in tune.

Composer & conductor John Williams used Dvorak’s “4th movement of New World Symphony” to write the Jaws theme.
