By accident, Lita Ford and Ozzy Osbourne crossed paths in an LA studio in 1987, got very drunk together, and wrote the song “Close My Eyes Forever”. It was the highest charting single of either of their [solo] careers.

Folk singer Pete Seeger was likely the last person to ever hear bluesman Big Bill Broonzy sing. He recorded the private performance and the next day, doctors nicked Broonzy’s vocal chords while performing cancer surgery. The bluesman never sang (or talked above a whisper) again.
