Despite being a massive hit, the 1959 Barrett Strong/Berry Gordy song “MONEY (THAT’S WHAT I WANT)” featured “two white kids walking home from high school” who heard the music from Detroit’s Hitsville & asked to play along. They were never identified.

In his 1976 Best Album Grammy acceptance speech, Paul Simon jokingly thanked Stevie Wonder for not releasing an album that year. Wonder had won in 1974 & 1975, and would win again in 1977 for “Songs in the Key of Life”.
