The name “Muscle Shoals Sound Studio” was a local tongue-in-cheek joke, because the studio was actually Sheffield, a town that shares a border with Muscle Shoals.

Outlaw Country singer/guitarist Waylon Jennings’ middle name was ” Arnold”.
