During a legendary June 7th, 1969 show, Janis Joplin jammed with Grateful Dead at Fillmore West, helping Pigpen sing Bobby “Blue” Bland‘s classic R&B song “Turn On Your Lovelight”.

Pink Floyd’s original lineup was Syd Barrett, Roger Waters, Richard Wright, and Nick Mason. Classmate David Gilmour joined the group in ’67 to help cover for (and eventually replace) Barrett.
