Miles Davis covered Tina Turner’s “What’s Love Got To Do With It” in the early 1980s, but it wasn’t released until 30 years after his death, on vol 7 of the “That’s What Happened” Bootleg Series.

The legendary Grateful Dead song “He’s Gone” with the lyrics “Steal Your face right off your head” was about Dead drummer Mickey Hart’s father, who had acted as the band’s manager before absconding with some $70,000.
