Outlaw country music star Waylon Jennings got his start playing bass for Buddy Holly on the now-infamous “Winter Dance Party”. When Waylon was hired, he didn’t know how to play bass.

The music video for Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers’ 1991 single “Learning to Fly” featured Johnny Depp and Faye Dunaway.
