In 1998, singer, actress & producer Lauryn Hill wrote & produced Aretha Franklin’s signature song “A Rose Is Still a Rose” (and directed the music video), released her own massively influential album “The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill” later that year, and the following year, co-produced Santana’s 1999 album “Supernatural”.
