Peter Gabriel was inspired to make one of GENESIS’ more famous live show costumes, the flower mask, by an old children’s TV show called ‘Bill and Ben the Flower Pot Men’.

The success of Ike Turner’s “Rocket 88”, recorded at Sam Phillips’ Memphis Recording Service, gave Philips the ability to open Sun Records in 1952.
