While shooting the cover of Pink Floyd’s “Animals”, the floating pig broke loose, grounding airplanes and baffling London before landing about 40 miles away. They ultimately spliced the pig into the cover photo.

While The Beatles’ Paul McCartney was among many at Abbey Rd. Studios whose sound bytes were recorded for Pink Floyd’s immortal Dark Side of the Moon, his lines didn’t make the cut, because “he was trying to be funny, which wasn’t what we wanted at all.”
