Monterey Pop Festival didn’t record Janis Joplin’s performance due to a rights concern — so she performed a second set so the festival could film it.

Willie Nelson and Wynton Marsalis performed a duet set together at The Lincoln Center in New York City, which would become the 2008 album “Two Men with the Blues”.
