Recorded during two sessions in 1958, John Coltrane's 4-track "Stardust" was released five years later in 1963 by Prestige Records. The lineup on the four tracks is a virtual who's who of the golden era's Jazz giants. Red Garland played piano, Freddie Hubbard on trumpet, Paul Chambers on bass, alternatively Arthur Taylor or Jimmy Cobb on drums and Wilbur Harden on horns. Of course, John Coltrane played tenor saxophone.
