When recording the 1980 STAR WARS CHRISTMAS ALBUM, producers needed a fresh vocal for a song, so with low time and few options, they asked the 17 year old kid sweeping floors. Thus, John Bon Jovi’s first credited recording was singing “R2-D2 We Wish You a Merry Christmas.”

Despite being a massive hit, the 1959 Barrett Strong/Berry Gordy song “MONEY (THAT’S WHAT I WANT)” featured “two white kids walking home from high school” who heard the music from Detroit’s Hitsville & asked to play along. They were never identified.
