There’s a small town diner in Springfield, Illinois named after Jazz saxophone legend Charlie Parker.

The famous guitar wah-wah effect, popularized by Jimi Hendrix and Eric Clapton, was created in the 1960s by engineers trying to mimic the mute of a trumpet.
