Bob Dylan has named at least three songs after bluesmen, 2001’s “High Water (For Charley Patton)”,1983 song “Blind Willie McTell”, and 202’s “Goodbye Jimmy Reed”.

The famous guitar wah-wah effect, popularized by Jimi Hendrix and Eric Clapton, was created in the 1960s by engineers trying to mimic the mute of a trumpet.
