The famous photo of Jimi Hendrix burning his guitar at Monterey Pop Festival was taken by 17-year-old Ed Caraeff, who’d never heard of Jimi, with the last picture in his camera.

The lead singer of The Drifters, Rudy Lewis, died the night before recording “Under The Boardwalk”, his alternate Johnny Moore made the song one of the group’s most massive hits.
