David “Honeyboy” Edwards had a cameo as himself in the beginning of the 2007 movie “Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story” starring John C. Reilly.

The Beach Boys’ “Surfin’ U.S.A.” was nearly a note-for-note copy of Chuck Berry’s “Sweet Little Sixteen”. Chuck reportedly did enjoy the song, and eventually got a songwriting credit for it.
