Howlin’ Wolf, Elmore James and Bo Diddley’s music was used in Martin Scorsese’s 2013 movie “The Wolf of Wall Street” starring Leonardo DiCaprio.

While Waylon Jennings was recording his album “I’ve Always Been Crazy” in 1977, federal agents stormed the recording studio trying to bust Jennings for drugs, which they didn’t find. He was inspired to write “Don’t You Think This Outlaw Bit’s Done Got Out of Hand?” after the experience.
