Coincidentally, The Jacksons’ 1978 hit song “Blame It on the Boogie” was written by English singer-songwriter Michael “Mick” Jackson and NOT Michael Jackson of The Jacksons.

While Waylon Jennings was recording his album “I’ve Always Been Crazy” in 1977, federal agents stormed the recording studio trying to bust Jennings for drugs, which they didn’t find. He was inspired to write “Don’t You Think This Outlaw Bit’s Done Got Out of Hand?” after the experience.
